Each edition, the festival will give out awards in the following categories:

Best Narrative Feature Film
Best Narrative Short Film
Best Documentary Short Film
Best Experimental Film
Best Animated Film
Best Vietnamese Short Film

SUBMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS

Genre focus: experimental, abstract, video art, documentary.
Length: under 15 minutes
Prefer films made between 2015-2022.
If your film has *any* dialogue, subtitles in English is a requirement.

*Submissions without subtitles will be considered incomplete*

Rules & Terms Terms and Condition:

+ All films with dialogue must have ENGLISH subtitles
+ All accepted films must provide downloadable MP4 file + $3.50 USD submission fee for international submissions
+ Filmmakers from SEA do not have to pay a submission fee (discount code supplied upon contact).
+ A submission does not guarantee a screening
+ OK if your film has been screened before + Accepted film will be shown at a private screening - across various locations - hosted by Saigon Experimental Film Collective
+ Screening date(s) subject to change of date and/or venue
+ Saigon Experimental may use clips and/or stills from accepted film for promotion via social media/website
+ Multiple entries are permissible, but each entry must be accompanied by a separate Entry and fee.

SCREENING FEE

The festival does not offer screening fees for its films. By submitting through FilmFreeway you are agreeing to NOT request a screening fee as a requirement for your film's participation in the festival, should your film get selected for the program.

+ Các phim được chọn phải cung cấp file tải xuống được định dạng MP4
+ Các đơn quốc tế phải nộp phí $3.50
+ Các nhà làm phim ở Đông Nam Á không cần phải trả phí nộp phim (mã giảm giá sẽ được cung cấp khi bạn liên lạc với chúng tôi)
+ Việc nộp phim không đảm bảo phim sẽ được chiếu
+ Chúng tôi chấp nhận cả những phim đã từng được chiếu trước đây
+ Các phim được chọn sẽ được chiếu ở những buổi chiếu kín – rải rác nhiều địa điểm – cho Saigon Experimental Film Collective tổ chức
+ Ngày chiếu và địa điểm chiếu phim có thể sẽ thay đổi vì các lý do khách quan và chủ quan
+ Saigon Experimental có thể sử dụng một số hình ảnh hoặc đoạn phim từ các phim được chọn để quảng bá trên trang web và mạng xã hội của chúng tôi
